IMPORTANT GUIDELINES For A Dietary Transitional Change

MIXING AND MEASURING
A transitional change from your previous dog food brand to Natural Life requires careful mixing and measuring. First, reduce overall amount fed by 25%. Mix 2/3 former brand with 1/3 Natural Life Formula for the first two days, then 1/3 former brand with 2/3 Natural Life Formula for the next two days. On the fifth day, start feeding 100% Natural Life Formula.

BETTER ABSORPTION = BETTER NUTRITION

A good indicator of how efficiently your pet's body is using food is the amount of stool produced. Fewer stools mean more absorption and better nutrition, besides the obvious benefit of having less waste to clean up. When switching foods, it is important to do so slowly. You'll minimize the amount of intestinal discomfort and diarrhea that can accompany a quick change. Also, watch the amount you feed. The better the food the less you should be feeding, and overfeeding can cause diarrhea.
