It is so hard to find a food without chicken in it. My dog has allergies, plus chicken is unhealthy with the way the leave them in their own feces and pump them full of antibiotics just to keep them alive. So for those 2 reasons I need a food without chicken. I bought this and I couldn't be happier! It smells fantastic! You can really smell the salmon and menhaden fish that are in there and that is always a good sign. It has salmon oil in it for Omega 3 and DHA and a good Omega 6:3 ratio. 1.7 to .8 . And more over my dogs love it and gobble it up and the price is amazing! It's a win, win, win!
